The Rainstalker

The Rainstalker is a horror mod built around Minecraft's weather system.

During rainstorms, a tall dark figure may begin appearing around the player. At first it simply watches from a distance, disappearing when approached or stared at for too long. As the weather worsens and thunderstorms develop, its behavior changes. The Rainstalker becomes more aggressive, drawing closer with each passing moment until it eventually begins hunting.

Every encounter is designed to create tension and uncertainty. You may hear distant screams carried by the storm, strange sounds coming from nearby caves, or even the voice of a villager where no villager should be. The longer the storm lasts, the more dangerous the Rainstalker becomes.

Features

The Rainstalker is not meant to be fought immediately. It is meant to create tension, uncertainty, and the feeling that something is always watching from the rain.

Credits & Notes

This is my first Minecraft mod and a passion project that started as a simple weather horror concept. Feel free to build upon it, create your own interpretation, or use it as inspiration for your own projects. If you create a modified version, I would greatly appreciate credit as the original creator.

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are always welcome.
