Mine seven new gemstones, hunt down legendary gems across the world, and forge them into armor, rings, and amulets with real, activatable powers.

Gems & Jewelry adds a full progression of gemstone ores, netherite-tier armor sets with their own set bonuses, rare structure-hunted treasures, and wearable jewelry that does more than look good — every ring has an active ability you trigger with a hotkey, and every amulet grants a passive effect while worn.

✨ Features

⛏️ Gemstone Ores

Seven new ores generate deep underground across the Overworld (diamond-pickaxe tier), each dropping its own gem:

• Ruby, Sapphire, Alexandrite, Topaz, Citrine, Zircon, and Tourmaline

💡 The gem veins use emissive textures — with supported shaders (BSL, Sildur's Vibrant, OptiFine emissive, etc.) the gems glow in the dark, making ores easier to spot.

💎 Legendary Gems

Powerful one-of-a-kind gems hidden throughout the world — each tied to a specific source:

🛡️ Gem Armor

Seven full armor sets — one per gem — crafted just like vanilla armor but with the matching gem. Every set has netherite-tier protection (identical defense, toughness, knockback resistance, enchantability and durability) and is fireproof in lava. Wearing a complete set grants a unique passive bonus:

🎨 Every piece accepts all vanilla smithing trims, so you can decorate your gem armor just like vanilla gear.

💍 Rings — Active Abilities

Equip a ring in the ring slot and press the Activate Ring Ability key to trigger its power. Each ring has its own activation sound and an ender-pearl-style 5-minute cooldown shown right on the item.

• Ruby Ring — Strength I (30s)
• Sapphire Ring — Speed II (30s)
• Topaz Ring — Dolphin's Grace I (30s)
• Zircon Ring — Haste II (30s)
• Citrine Ring — Resistance II (20s)
• Alexandrite Ring — teleport up to 50 blocks toward where you look
• Tourmaline Ring — instantly heal 10 HP (5 hearts)
• Life Ring — Regeneration II (30s)
• Explosion Ring — TNT-strength blast with no self-damage
• Dragon Ring — creative-style flight (30s) with a visible on-screen timer

📿 Amulets — Passive Powers

Worn in the necklace slot:

• Sea Amulet — Luck I while worn
• Invisibility Amulet — Invisibility I while worn
• Life Amulet — acts as a Totem of Undying (recharge by combining with a real Totem)
• Void Amulet — saves you from falling into the void
• Hell Amulet — automatically grants Fire Resistance when you catch fire (then goes on cooldown)
