FrozenCrops

🌾 FrozenCrops

📦 Plugin Info

A high-performance accelerated crop growth plugin for Paper. It speeds up growth for regular crops (age-based) and vertical plants (bamboo, cane, kelp, vines, cactus), with per-crop toggles, smart pickup/auto-collect, optional growth effects, and a permission-based bypass for vanilla-speed growth.

• Tab-completes reload/toggle as the first argument

🎯 Uses

• 🌱 Speed up regular crop growth (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, melon/pumpkin stems, cocoa, berry bushes, saplings, mushrooms, and more) on a configurable timer, with adjustable randomness so growth doesn't feel robotic.
• 🎋 Accelerate vertical plants (bamboo, sugar cane, kelp, cactus, vines, twisting/weeping vines, cave vines) toward configurable max heights via periodic proximity scans near players.
• 🧺 Smart Pickup: block-break and harvest drops go straight into the breaking player's inventory; overflow merges into a single ground pile with a count hologram instead of scattering as separate item entities.
• 🎛️ Fine-grained control: enable/disable growth boosting per individual crop/plant type in config.yml.
• ✨ Optional particle effects on growth stages and a sound on full maturity.
• 🚫 Give trusted players/areas vanilla-speed growth via the bypass permission.
• 🐛 Debug mode for troubleshooting growth behavior.

⚙️ Key Config Options (config.yml)

• enabled — master on/off toggle for the whole plugin
• growth.crop-growth-seconds — time (seconds) for a crop to go from planted to fully mature; also the target time for vertical plants to reach max height
• growth.randomness — 0.0 (no randomness) to 1.0 (fully random within the interval)
• vertical.growth-interval-seconds — how often the plugin scans near players for vertical plants (affects server load, not growth speed)
• vertical.max-*-height — max height per vertical plant type (0 = vanilla limit)
• pickup.* — smart pickup toggle, merge radius, hologram color, pickup sound
• crops.* — per-crop/plant true/false toggle for accelerated growth
• effects.* — particle-on-growth and sound-on-mature settings
• debug — verbose logging toggle
• messages.* — all user-facing message strings, color-coded with & formatting
