A Speed-Building Party That Tests Your Memory
So you think you remember that cozy little cabin you built last week? Cute. Let's find out if your brain agrees with your hands.
YudxxSpeedBuilders is a memory-based speed-building minigame for Spigot and Paper (or others) servers. One round, one secret build, a ticking clock, and a bunch of players frantically trying to rebuild it from pure memory on their own little floating island. Miss a block and the dragon judges you. Build it perfectly and the dragon high-fives you, metaphorically. Last builder standing wins.
How a round actually plays out
The whole match is a neat little state machine. Here is the ride, start to finish.
WAITING: Players pile into the lobby. The game waits until enough players show up or the wait timer runs out.
STARTING: A short breath before the storm.
GAME STARTING: Big countdown so nobody panics early.
OBSERVING: The sneak peek. The target build appears and fills in from the bottom up, block by block, while a friendly Ender Dragon does laps. Memorize it. You won't see it again.
BUILDING: Go go go. Everyone rebuilds from memory on their own island. Try to wander off your platform and a mysterious force yanks you right back. No cheating the memory test.
SCORE: The dragon returns and judges how closely each build matches the original. Lowest accuracy gets the boot. Nail it one hundred percent and you earn a shiny perfect build bonus.
Loop or END: Survived? Another round with a fresh build. Down to one builder? That smug genius is the champion.
A few spicy details that make it feel fair and alive.
Private islands. Every player gets their own plot, so nobody accidentally copies their neighbor's roof.
Region lock. Step outside your building zone during building and you get pulled back. Memory, not marathon.
Perfect builds. Match the template exactly and you get bonus love. Bragging rights included.
Multi-round pressure. Rounds stack up, difficulty shifts, and the weak links get trimmed each time until one legend remains.
Auto clean-up. When the dust settles, the map restores itself automatically. No messy leftovers for the next match.
Features
Memory speed-building core. Show, memorize, rebuild, get judged. Simple to learn, weirdly addictive.
Template system for admins. Build anything once, save it as a challenge template with a selection wand, reuse forever.
Island theme shop. Players can buy and equip island skins through a GUI, powered by your economy plugin. Vanity never slept so well.
Economy ready. Hooks into Vault and PlayerPoints for the island shop. Money makes the builds go round.
PlaceholderAPI support. A whole family of speedbuilder placeholders for scoreboards, menus, and your fanciest HUD.
Flexible storage. Stats live in Yaml by default, or hop over to MySQL when you go big.
Multi-server friendly. BungeeCord mode bounces winners back to the lobby like a polite boomerang.
Multi-language. Ships with English and Simplified Chinese, and you can drop in your own language file. Pick it in config.yml.
Configurable everything. Timings, scoreboard layout, game rules text, lobby return command. All yours to tweak.
Broad compatibility. Built against 1.21 and runs on servers from 1.8 all the way to 1.21.
Commands
There is one master command and everything lives under it.
ysb is the one and only command, also reachable as yudxxspeedbuilders.
ysb join, ysb quit, ysb list let players hop in, bail out, or peek at who is currently playing.
ysb stats with an optional player name, ysb top, and ysb info show your records, the win leaderboard, and map info.
ysb island opens the island-theme shop GUI. It costs economy money, obviously.
ysb setup is for admins carving out the arena. You get create, lobby, middle, island, min, limit, radius, guardian, platform, and save.
ysb template is for admins managing build templates. You get wand, create, delete, and list.
ysb force start or ysb force stop lets admins start or stop the game on demand, because patience is overrated.
ysb reload hot-reloads config and templates.
ysb help with an optional page number shows this help, paginated.
All command feedback is localized. The built-in help is English and paginated, so use ysb help followed by a page number when the list gets long.
