Scary Join/Leave Messages

Add an unsettling atmosphere to your server with random fake join and leave messages. Players may see mysterious names appearing and disappearing from the server, creating the feeling that someone  or something is always watching.

Configuration

General Settings

• enabled – Enables or disables all random messages.

• minSeconds – Minimum delay (in seconds) between random messages.

• maxSeconds – Maximum delay (in seconds) between random messages.

• A random interval between minSeconds and maxSeconds is chosen after each message, making appearances unpredictable.

Commands

• requireOpForCommand – Controls whether the /scaremsg command requires operator permissions.

• Recommended to keep this enabled so players cannot easily discover that the messages are generated by the mod.

Example

With the default settings:

• Messages will appear every 3–10 minutes.

• Only operators can use /scaremsg.

• Random fake joins and leaves will continue until the mod is disabled.
