ScreamingChest swaps all eight vanilla chest boats for animated variants powered by GeckoLib 4.8.4. Right-clicking a screaming chest boat on water spawns an ordinary vanilla chest boat of the matching wood type — the scream and lid-open animation stay on the held item, driven by ScreamingChestFallingDetector and the per-instance ScreamingChestModel. Three boats (oak, spruce, birch) appear in the vanilla TOOLS_AND_UTILITIES creative tab; the remaining five (jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry) are also registered and craftable but stay out of the visual inventory to keep the tab tidy. Crafting follows vanilla's exact recipe contract: any <wood>_boat + chest . Ships with a patched geckoLib jar (refmap fixed for Mojang-official mappings, example-mod creative tab suppressed at runtime) so Mixin applies cleanly on Forge 47.4.20.
