Clay Soldiers Reborn

A faithful 1:1 recreation of KodaichiZero, SanAndreasP, SilverChiren, and CliffracerX's Clay Soldier Mod V3 (Beta 1.7.3) for modern minecraft.

What the soldiers do

Grey soldiers are neutral, they never start a fight, though they retaliate when struck. Dye one and it joins a team that will attack every other team on sight. Soldiers seek out items on the ground and inside chests.

Stick: Weapon, 15 swings. Damage 3-4 instead of 2, and longer reach

Flint: Sharpens a held stick to 4-5 damage

Leather: Armour, 15 hits. Halves incoming damage

Wool: Pads armour for 1 extra damage reduction

Gravel: 15 rocks, thrown at enemies between 1.75 and 7 blocks away for 4 damage

Gold ingot: Crown. One king per team; kings are priority targets for everyone else

Iron: ingot Heavy core. Barely gets knocked back, but can no longer ride a horse

Glowstone: dust Glows in the dark

Gunpowder: Explodes on death and leaves no drops

Sugar: 1200 ticks of doubled speed

Any food: 4 portions, each healing 15 when below 15 health

Clay ball: 4 resurrection charges: revives a dropped doll of its own color.

Slimeball: 2 charges of goo, which pins an enemy in place for 150 ticks

Redstone: 2 smoke bombs, which blind an enemy for 100 ticks

Logs (5+): Carries up to 20 and builds one of three houses

Soldiers also chase a cast fishing bobber, which is how you herd them, and ride an unoccupied dirt horse.

A Clay Disruptor wipes every soldier and horse within 16 blocks and shatters clay blocks within 12.

Recipes

• Clay Soldier x4: soul sand above a clay block
• Coloured soldier: grey soldier + matching dye (shapeless)
• Dirt Horse x2: dirt / soul sand / dirt over dirt / air / dirt
• Clay Disruptor: clay ball, stick, clay ball over clay ball, redstone, clay ball

All of textures were made by these people and the code was made by me built from the ground up as the beta1.7.3 code as a 1:1 reference (yeah no i ported the original beta 1.7.3 mod not the 1.12.2 version).
