# The Parallel — Stalker 

 

**He sees you in the dark.**

 

A horror addon for **Minecraft Bedrock Edition**, inspired by *The Parallel*.

## Entities

 

### Stalker (`parallel:stalker`)

- Spawns far from the player on the **3rd in-game day**

- Chases and attacks the player

- Can break many blocks

- Applies **Darkness III** when nearby

- High health and strong damage

 

### Watcher (`parallel:stalker2`)

- Spawns near **trees** (especially at night)

- Does **not** move, attack, or break blocks

- Does **not** apply darkness

- Always looks at the player

- **Disappears** if you get too close (\~8 blocks)

## Features

- Custom textures and models

- Script-based day-3 Stalker spawn

- Ambient Watcher spawns near logs at night

- Darkness aura from the Stalker

- Spawn eggs in Creative mode

## Installation

1. Download the `.mcaddon` file

2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock

3. Create or edit a world

4. Enable **both** the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack

5. Enable **Beta APIs** (and Holiday Creator Features if prompted)

6. Play in Survival for the intended experience

## Compatibility

- Minecraft Bedrock **1.21+**

- Tested on builds around **1.21.40**

- One aggressive Stalker spawn per world (day 3)

- Watchers can appear multiple times in forest areas

## Notes

- The Stalker only auto-spawns once per world after day 3

- Use `/summon` if you need to test again in the same world

- Works best in Survival with sound on
