Note: sHomes is designed around the GUI system. Home creation and management are handled directly through the Dialog GUI.
Permissions
homesgui.use (default: true) - Allows the player to use the Homes GUI
homesgui.admin (default: op) - Allows the player to use admin commands
homesgui.admin.reload (default: op) - Allows reloading the plugin config
homesgui.admin.view (default: op) - Allows viewing other players' homes
homesgui.admin.set (default: op) - Allows setting a player's home limit
homesgui.admin.remove (default: op) - Allows removing a player's custom limit
homesgui.limit.5 (default: false) - Allows up to 5 homes
homesgui.limit.10 (default: false) - Allows up to 10 homes
homesgui.limit.25 (default: false) - Allows up to 25 homes
homesgui.limit.90 (default: false) - Allows up to 90 homes
Permission behavior: The plugin checks admin override first, then uses the highest available permission-based limit, then falls back to the default limit.

Important: This plugin uses the Paper 26.2 Dialog API for native client-side GUIs.
Home GUI
The main Homes GUI provides a clean grid-based interface for managing all available home slots.
New Home Create a new home at your current location
Locked Shows home slots that require a higher permission limit
Home Button Shows the home icon and name. Click to manage
Home Management
Teleport Teleport to the selected home
Change Icon Choose a Minecraft item icon for the home
Rename Rename the selected home
Delete Open a confirmation dialog before deleting the home
Back Return to the main Homes menu
Admin Commands
/homes admin reload Reload the plugin configuration without restart
/homes admin view <player> View any player's homes - works for online AND offline players. Players GUI for admins, text list for console
/homes admin set <player> <amount> Set a custom home limit for a specific player. Overrides permission-based limits
/homes admin remove <player> Remove a player's custom limit, reverting to permission-based limits

Data Storage
Player home data is stored separately for each player as YAML files.
Location: /plugins/sHomes/playerdata/<player-uuid>.yml
Limits: /plugins/sHomes/player-limits.yml
Each home stores:

Homes Book
sHomes includes an optional Homes Book feature. Right-click a named book item to open the Homes GUI instantly.
Default: Disabled

Resource Pack / Custom Icons
sHomes includes its custom icon font resource pack files.
Resource pack namespace: sHomes
The custom font renders Minecraft material icons inside the Dialog UI while keeping normal text on the vanilla Minecraft font.
Recommended: Use the resource pack included with the plugin for custom item icons to display correctly.
⚙ Installation
- Download the Zip and Extract
- Stop your Paper server
- Put sHomes.jar into the /plugins folder
- Apply resource pack on server
- Start the server
- Open the GUI using /homes
- Configure config.yml if needed
- Run /homes admin reload after config changes
No external dependency is required.
Troubleshooting
If icons display as square boxes:
- Make sure the included sHomes resource pack is loaded
- Reload the client resource pack with F3 + T
- Make sure the client is running the intended Minecraft version
- Restart the server after replacing the plugin JAR
If a home cannot teleport:
- Check that the saved world still exists
- Check the server console for teleport errors
- Verify the home data file is valid
