THIS MOD IS NOT JUST A 3D COSMETIC ADDON! Please read the below information.

Brief Summary

Feature-packed helmet addon for end-game players or servers who are looking for both a convenient utility and an exclusive cosmetic upgrade! Read description for important and necessary information to use the mod. (Mod version)

This mod is also my first ever minecraft mod and also the first ever time i've 3D modelled anything properly. If this gets enough downloads or interest I will make newer versions of the mod so please read this whole page to the bottom to see possible future additions (I promise it won't take you very long)!

First Official Release of my Golden Laurel Crown Mod

It's more than just an addon item, it also contains or adds the following:

• Unbreakability
• Immunity to destruction via explosions, lava, cacti or vanilla item despawn time
• Only one can be crafted (without duping) per world
• 3 TOGGLEABLE FEATURE MODES*
• 8 Armor toughness & 2 knockback resistance (Slightly higher protection than a Netherite Chestplate)
• Immunity to hostile mobs/monsters*

As this is the first release, the current hotkey is fixed and cannot be modified in-game. I will add future updates allowing custom hotkeys if this mod gains enough interest.

• 3 Modes: Radiant, Dim and Hidden
• With Radiant or Dim active, an invisible light source will be placed infront of the Player every few ticks at strength 15 or 7 respectively.
• It will delete the previous light source once another is placed when the player moves block/ looks in a different direction.
• The light source can ONLY replace air, so cannot damage builds or replace fluids (eg, water).
• When using Radiant, a small particle halo will orbit above the Player's head
• When using Radiant, ALL HOSTILE MOBS/ MONSTERS WILL IGNORE THE PLAYER (excluding the ender dragon, warden, wither and ghasts).

How to toggle modes

• Must be holding nothing in your hotbar, and have an empty offhand
• Must be wearing the Laurel Crown (obviously)..
• Simply Right Click (using RMB/ Right Mouse Button) while looking into air
• I understand it will get annoying when using benches like a crafting table or furnace as it will still toggle, so i reconmmend you hold items when interacting with blocks/entities for now until a future update.

Crafting Recipe

• 7 Gold Blocks (make a U shape in a 3x3 crafting grid)
• One Netherite Helmet in the center
• One Dragon egg on top

Future update possibilites?

• Customisable hotkey for switching modes
• More variants of the crown (eg, basic green Laurel Crown) with less features and being much easier to obtain (and not having a world count limit)
• Command allowing operators or singleplayer-s to determine whether only one Laurel Crown is allowed per server/world (will mean it would become undupable, so there will quite literally only be one existing at any time)
• Basic resourcepack/datapack with just the actual 3D model rather than features (very easy to add and I will likely do this in the foreseeable future)
• Version of the Mod with an easier and more multiplayer-friendly crafting recipe
• More features suggested by anyone else, i guess..
