★ About
sCrates is a feature-complete crate plugin built to give your players a premium crate experience without giving you a headache. Every crate opens in three sequential phases — world effects, a cinematic main animation and a reward reveal — with real-time holograms through DecentHolograms, a deep rarity system, an in-game visual reward editor and a public developer API for third-party integrations.
Every crate lives in its own YML file and everything reloads live: no server restart, no downtime, no players yelling at you.

★ Crate Types
- PHYSICAL — a physical block in the world that requires a key to open
- VIRTUAL — opened from command or menu, no physical block required
- HYBRID — a physical block that can also be opened remotely via command

- MONEY — money via Vault (requires Vault installed)

- Common — the everyday rewards
- Rare — a nice step up
- Special — limited or seasonal items
- Legendary — the chase items players grind for
- Unique — one-of-a-kind rewards for special events
★ Animation System
Every crate opens in three sequential phases — pick one effect from each:
- Phase 1 — pre-open world effects (blasting, lightning, rainbow, sonic-boom...)
- Phase 2 — main animation with 3D item display (csgo-gui, snake-gui, swirl, spinner...)
- Phase 3 — reward reveal (firework, helix, fire-spiral, physical-item...)
- Idle — 13 ambient effects that play continuously above the crate when nobody is opening

★ Networks & Storage
SQLite works out of the box with zero configuration — a local file, nothing to install. For BungeeCord / Velocity networks, switch to MySQL in config.yml on every server pointing to the same database: keys and statistics sync instantly across your whole network.
JDBC libraries are automatically loaded via the libraries field in plugin.yml, so you don't have to download anything extra.
★ Developer API
sCrates exposes a public API that lets other plugins:
- ✔ Register crates dynamically
- ✔ Hook custom rewards
- ✔ Listen to opening events
- ✔ Access the KeyManager and CrateManager
- ✔ Integrate their own placeholders
★ Update Checker
sCrates automatically checks for updates on startup by querying the Spigot API. Admins ( scrates.admin) are notified on join when a new version is available. You can also manually check with /scrates update.
★ Compatibility
- Paper 1.12.x → 26.x — all major Paper forks supported
- No NMS — public Bukkit / Spigot API only
- Java 21 or higher
- 3D Display entities on 1.19.4+ (automatic fallback on older versions)
★ Dependencies
- DecentHolograms — required (holograms)
- Vault — optional (MONEY rewards)
- PlaceholderAPI • WorldGuard • Geyser / Floodgate — optional
★ Languages
30+ locales included: en_US, es_ES, es_AR, es_MX, pt_BR, fr_FR, de_DE, it_IT, nl_NL, ru_RU, uk_UA, pl_PL, sv_SE, no_NO, da_DK, fi_FI, cs_CZ, el_GR, ro_RO, hu_HU, tr_TR, ar_SA, he_IL, hi_IN, ja_JP, ko_KR, zh_CN, zh_TW, th_TH, vi_VN, in_ID — every single message fully customizable.
