Auto Disconnect

Auto Disconnect is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that gives you a fast, reliable way to leave your current Minecraft world or server. Press one configurable key to disconnect immediately instead of opening the pause menu and selecting the usual save-and-quit option.

If F8 conflicts with another mod or your keyboard layout, change the key under Options → Controls → Key Binds. The keybind is listed in the Auto Disconnect category.

Compatibility

Auto Disconnect is designed for Minecraft 1.21.11 on Fabric. It is a client-side utility and does not need to be installed on servers.

Important behavior

Auto Disconnect requests a normal Minecraft disconnection rather than force-closing the game. This preserves Minecraft's standard world and connection lifecycle, but it does not bypass server-side save timing or guarantee that a remote server has saved data at the exact moment the key is pressed.
