Bad PC Optimizations

A resource pack that removes visual effects to lighten the load on weaker PCs.

What it does:

• Disables all animated textures (water, lava, fire, portals, smoke) so they render static
• Makes every particle invisible, so nothing is drawn on screen
• Removes the shader folder from the pack

This pack disables particles and animations, so visual feedback like fire, rain and explosions disappears. Particles are still processed by the game, they are just not drawn. For real FPS gains on weak PCs use performance mods like Sodium or Lithium and lower your graphics settings.

Performance test (DonutSMP, donutsmp.net):

• Without pack: 195–305 FPS
• With pack: 231–385 FPS
• Results may vary depending on your system
• Test system: Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

Works with Minecraft Java 26.1+ (pack format 84). Load it above vanilla, no other changes.
