Tick Rate Sound Pitch adjusts the pitch of all client-side Minecraft sounds based on the current vanilla /tick rate.
When the game runs slower, sounds become lower in pitch. When the tick rate increases, sounds become higher in pitch. This makes slow motion and fast-forward gameplay feel much more immersive while preserving Minecraft's familiar sound.
Features
- 🎵 Automatically adjusts sound pitch to match the current
/tickrate - ⚡ Works with the vanilla tick rate system
- 🖥️ Client-side only
- 🔄 Updates dynamically whenever the tick rate changes
- 🪶 Lightweight with no configuration required
- 🎬 Great for TAS (Tool-Assisted Speedruns) and cinematic videos
Perfect for TAS
This mod is especially useful for Tool-Assisted Speedruns (TAS) and other sped-up gameplay. Instead of sounds becoming unnaturally deep or distorted when increasing the tick rate, the audio is pitch-corrected to closely resemble how Minecraft normally sounds. The result is much more natural, making fast gameplay significantly more enjoyable to watch and listen to.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21.11
- Loader: Fabric
- Environment: Client
Notes
This mod only changes the pitch of sounds. It does not modify gameplay, tick speed, or server behavior. It simply makes the audio match the current game speed for a more natural and immersive experience.
