TAB Compass
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
TAB Compass
Shows each player's locator-bar (compass) color as a small dot in the Tab player list.

Locator-bar colors exist from 1.21.6 onward, so older versions are not supported.
Install
- Install Fabric or NeoForge for your Minecraft version
- (Fabric) Install Fabric API
- Drop the matching TAB Compass jar into your
modsfolder
Notes
- Each player who wants the dots needs the mod installed (client-side)
- Quilt usually works with the Fabric jar
