Kinetic Prism Flow Mod (1.21.1) – Light Up Moving Contraptions

Kinetic Prism Flow Mod brings moving, colored lights to Create contraptions and Sable sub-levels. Light travels directly with moving machinery, ships, and elevators instead of leaving dark cabins. It lets light flow both ways between your moving builds and the surrounding world.

Features:

• Lanterns, glowstone, and torches carry their light while moving on contraptions and vehicles.
• Light moves smoothly on carts, elevators, gantries, mechanical bearings, and rotating cogs.
• World light sources like placed torches, lava, and glowing mobs shine back onto passing builds.
• Moving builds can light each other when they pass nearby or ride on top of one another.
• Colored light options make soul lanterns glow blue, redstone torches glow red, and froglights glow in pastel tones.
• Overlapping colored lights blend naturally where their beams meet.
• Hidden light blocks inside Create copycat blocks and placards still cast their normal light.
• Ragdolled players keep holding active lights that light the area while they are limp.
• Sealed rooms inside Sable sub-levels block outside light and keep indoor light contained.
• Includes a server-side mode that places real invisible light blocks for vanilla clients.

Lighting Modes:

• LAMB Mode: Default option that provides smooth frame-by-frame lighting through LambDynamicLights.
• VEIL Mode: Experimental mode that adds angled block shadows on tilted builds.
• Server Light Blocks: Server-only option that drops temporary light blocks as builds move so all players can see without client mods.

Configuration:

• mode: Chooses the rendering backend between LAMB, VEIL, or OFF.
• luminanceMultiplier: Adjusts overall brightness multiplier up to 2.0.
• updateInterval: Sets the delay in milliseconds between lighting updates cast by builds.
• worldUpdateInterval: Sets the delay in milliseconds for world light shining back onto builds.
• enableColoredLight: Turns on custom light colors for glowing blocks.
• colorIntensity: Adjusts how deep or washed out the light colors appear.
• enableContraptionDynamicLight: Toggles whether Create contraptions cast light.
• enableSubLevelDynamicLight: Toggles whether Sable sub-levels cast light.
• enableSubLevelOcclusion: Keeps light contained inside closed vehicle rooms.
