Kione

Kione is the ability mod behind one private survival server. It adds a boss-style kit and a siege system that runs entirely on the server.

Read this first

The abilities are bound to a single account. Before anything fires, Kione checks a hardcoded UUID, an operator level and a Nether Star in the inventory. On any other server, and for any other player, nothing will trigger. That is intentional and not a bug.

This is published here so the players on that SMP can install it through the Modrinth App instead of downloading a jar from a Discord message. If you are not on that server, this mod will not do anything for you.

What it adds

• Homing skulls with four charge levels, configurable tracking, explosion radius and block damage. Long-range shots can lock onto a coordinate or a player.
• Reflection shield with an automatic counter on heavy hits.
• Speed burst with fall-damage immunity and a slowness field around the user.
• Sanctuary, an automatic revive that triggers below a health threshold, with a cinematic resurrection.
• Bodyguard and sentinels, summonable defenders with their own AI and a berserk mode.
• Mass skull salvo, a half-circle barrage.
• Siege system, server side. One team declares an attempt, the server tracks both rosters, kicks knocked-out players until the siege ends, counts logouts as deaths and announces the result. Cooldowns are stored in the world save.

• GeckoLib 4.8 or newer (4.x line, not 5.x)

Install on both the client and the server.

All bundled sound is built from CC0 sources, edited and layered with ffmpeg.
