The Shinies

A small mod for Minecraft that adds new ores, tools, and crystals with unique gameplay mechanics and abilities

Features

New Tools

• Pickaxe and Axe: When blocks (ore, stone, and logs) are broken, they apply the Haste effect, which allows you to mine much faster
• Sword: Has increased knockback and has a 15% chance to set the enemy on fire upon impact

• Pickaxe: Turns nearby blocks of water into solid ice
• Crystalline Sapphire Pickaxe: Turns nearby blocks of water and lava into - solid ice if water, obsidian if lava
• Axe: There's a small chance that apples will fall out when you cut down a tree
• Crystalline Sapphire Axe: Same as sapphire axe but also a chance to get a golden apple
• Sword: There's a chance to apply the slowness effect and chance to freeze an entity
• Crystalline Sapphire Sword: Same as Sapphire Sword but a chance is a bit more

• Crystal Ruby Pickaxe: Automatically smelts mined ore (unless the tool is enchanted with Silk Touch)
• Ruby Sword: Sets the target on fire with a 30% chance
• Crystal Ruby Sword: Same as Ruby Sword but there's a 60% chance
• Ruby Axe: Spawns a coal when cutting down a tree

• Ruby Ore: Spawns in every biome and has normal and deepslate versions
• Sapphire Ore: Spawns in "cold" biomes only
• Jasper Ore: Spawns in "hot" biomes only (e.g Savanna and others)

Imporant

This mod is in alpha, so it may have bugs, so if you find any bugs or want to suggest to add something, check the repo on GitHub
