Echoes of the Past: Familiar Dreams

This add‑on will spawn those scenes from memory within the world — familiar, yet uncanny…

This entry is entered in the Bedrock Add‑ons category for Echoes of the Past: Minecraft ModJam 2026.

Echoes of the past do not only stem from distant ancient civilizations. For Minecraft players, some reverberations come from our own in‑game childhoods.
Every new player has likely built a crude box‑shaped starter hut, dreamed of Glowstone blocks opening gateways to other dimensions, and replicated mythic teleportation pools based on rumors. These structures carried our aspirations, yet they could never function as we had imagined.
This Add‑on naturally spawns these distorted, high‑contrast memory‑wrought structures throughout the Overworld. They feel intensely familiar, yet uncanny in every detail. These are the one‑of‑a‑kind historical echoes of the player community, symbolizing the bygone days we can never revisit.

This Add‑on adds naturally‑generated custom structures themed around older Minecraft versions, including sand‑cactus‑and‑sign contraptions, the Nether Reactor Core, Nether Towers, pumpkin‑headed NPCs, and much more… Venture forth to uncover more structures and reawaken your memories of Minecraft!
