UNSTABLE SMP – Bedrock Hardcore SMP Addon

UNSTABLE SMP is a complete Minecraft: Bedrock Edition SMP addon built for chaotic, one-life, player‑driven worlds.

Inspired by the style of Unstable SMP videos (but with fully original code, textures, sounds and implementation), this addon turns your Bedrock world into a cinematic hardcore battleground with:

• One-life eliminations (no second chances)
• Spectator-style elimination mode
• Nuke – a giant TNT ring from the sky
• STAB – a brutal drilling strike from a special fishing rod
• Bounties, events, and special SMP items
• Admin tools to run the server like a show

No custom bosses. No RPG grind. Just players, betrayal, and high-stakes moments.

Key Features

1. One-Life Hardcore System (Permanent Elimination)

Every player gets exactly one life:

• Join → 1 Life → Die → Eliminated
• On death, players are:
  • Permanently marked as Eliminated
  • Moved into a spectator-style mode (no normal survival)
  • Shown a dramatic elimination title + effects
• Elimination persists across:
  • Leaving and rejoining
  • World / server restarts
• Normal players cannot revive themselves

Admins get a secure revive tool:

• /unstable revive <player> (or equivalent UI)
• Only admins can:
  • Check alive/eliminated status
  • Force-eliminate
  • Revive

Perfect for hardcore SMP series where death actually matters.

2. Nuke – Giant TNT Ring From the Sky

Unleash a cinematic Nuke event that creates a huge TNT circle in the sky, then drops it onto your target:

Sequence:

1. Target selected (item, command, or admin menu)
2. Countdown starts with titles, sounds, and warning messages
3. A massive circular ring of TNT appears high above the target
4. Players can clearly see the ring in the sky
5. The TNT ring descends and falls toward the ground
6. The impact triggers a heavy bombardment:
   • Multiple explosions
   • Fire, smoke, and particles
   • Loud impact and explosion sounds

Additional details:

• Uses optimized TNT patterns and timings to reduce lag on mobile/iPad
• Configurable cooldown / limited uses so it can’t be spammed
• Designed to be cinematic, not just “a big boom”

This is not a single explosion – it’s a full sky‑ring bombardment event.

3. STAB – Special Fishing Rod Strike to Bedrock

STAB is a unique, original special fishing rod built for PvP mind games and base cracking.

How STAB works:

1. Player uses the STAB fishing rod
2. The fishing hook’s landing point becomes the strike point
3. A short warning and countdown start near that location
4. From the exact target location, a strike:
   • Shoots straight down
   • Travels all the way to bedrock
   • Never comes from the sky
   • Never stops at the surface or halfway
5. On reaching bedrock:
   • Dramatic impact (particles, sounds, shock effect)
   • Clearly visible vertical strike effect, like a drill/beam to the void

Additional:

• Cooldown so players can’t spam it
• Optimized for Bedrock mobile/iPad
• Built entirely with original logic and visuals
• Not tied to any bosses or fantasy abilities – this is a pure SMP tool

Concept in one line:
STAB rod → Hook hits ground → Strike starts at that spot → Drills straight down to bedrock.

4. Player-Driven SMP Gameplay

UNSTABLE SMP is designed to create content and stories:

• Form alliances and betray them
• Build and raid bases
• Fight for control of resources
• Steal rare SMP items
• Start wars and server‑wide conflicts
• Turn every death and event into a highlight moment

There are no custom bosses. The “bosses” are your players.

5. Bounty System

Start conflicts and hunts with a built‑in bounty system:

• Place bounties on target players
• Set bounty reward/amount
• Announce active bounties to the server
• Reward players who successfully eliminate the target
• Anti‑abuse measures to reduce simple bounty farming (e.g. repeat kill exploits)

Bounties are perfect for:

• Viewer challenges
• Targeting powerful players
• Forcing PvP encounters

6. Special SMP Items

Includes original items designed for SMP chaos and utility, such as:

• STAB fishing rod
• Nuke activation item/event trigger
• Special PvP weapons (carefully balanced for SMP)
• Utility items for scouting, escapes, or tracking
• Rare & mystery items that can be used as event rewards
• Event-only items for limited-time scenarios

Everything is focused on survival/PvP – not on fantasy RPG systems.

7. Player Events

UNSTABLE SMP ships with player-focused event tools, for admins or scripted triggers:

• Bounty events
• Supply drops and rare loot drops
• Player hunts and manhunts
• Emergency server-wide alerts
• Limited-time challenges (e.g. kill goals, area control)
• Nuke/STAB events
• SMP-wide announcements for big moments

There are no boss events. Every event is about players interacting with players.

8. Admin Control System

Admins get a simple but powerful control panel (commands and/or UI):

• Check whether a player is Alive / Eliminated
• Force eliminate a player
• Revive an eliminated player
• Start / stop events
• Start a Nuke or cancel its countdown
• Trigger STAB‑style events if needed
• Create and remove bounties
• Give special SMP items
• Reset a player’s SMP data / status

All admin tools are protected from normal players.

9. Player Status UI

Players can easily see important SMP info via scoreboards / actionbar / simple UI:

• Alive / Eliminated status
• Active global events
• Active bounties (on them and on others)
• Key server announcements

The interface is kept:

• Clean
• Readable on mobile
• Professional (no clutter, no spam)

10. Cinematic SMP Effects

Major moments feel like a show:

Used for:

• Player elimination
• Nuke activation and impact
• STAB activation and impact
• Major SMP events and countdowns

Effects include:

• Titles & subtitles
• Sound cues
• Particles (carefully tuned)
• Countdown messages
• Warning markers

Effects are used sparingly so the server doesn’t turn into a constant light show.

11. Multiplayer & Persistence

UNSTABLE SMP is built for multiplayer SMP servers:

• Supports players joining, leaving, and rejoining
• One-life elimination persists across restarts
• Admin revives and eliminations stay saved
• Nuke, STAB, bounties, and events work with multiple players online

Player data is stored persistently so progress and eliminations are never reset by accident.

12. Mobile Performance Focus

Special care has been taken to support Bedrock mobile / iPad:

• Limited and optimized particles
• Controlled number of entities
• Avoids unnecessary always‑ticking scripts
• Optimized Nuke TNT patterns to reduce lag

You still get big moments, but tuned for practical gameplay on mobile.

By design:

• No boss mobs
• No boss raids

Everything in UNSTABLE SMP is originally created for this project:

• Original code and gameplay logic
• Original textures and models
• Original sounds where used
• Original names, UI layouts, and implementation

The addon is inspired by the general idea of chaotic SMPs, but does not copy any other creator’s proprietary addons, assets, or logos.

Installation

1. Download UNSTABLE_SMP.mcaddon from the Files section.
2. Open it with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
3. Enable both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack in your world settings.
4. Make sure experiments / script features required by this version are enabled.
5. Start your world and give yourself admin permissions to access the admin tools.
