What is up, everyone? Let's be totally honest for a second about the Minecraft late-game experience. You know exactly what I am talking about. You spend days grinding for XP, you get your villager trading hall set up, and you finally craft that perfect set of Protection IV Netherite armor and a Sharpness V sword.

And then what? The game just becomes boring, bro. You are literally an immortal god walking around, one-shotting zombies, and there is zero thrill left in combat or mining. Vanilla enchantments are way too safe.

I wanted to completely flip the script and bring some actual danger and insane power spikes back into the game. That is the whole reason we at Novacraft studios built the NovaCurses add-on. I didn't want to just add higher damage numbers; I wanted to introduce a hardcore risk-versus-reward system.

I wanted to give you the most overpowered abilities you have ever seen in Bedrock edition, but make you pay a heavy, agonizing price for using them. This add-on is for the absolute madmen who want to gamble with their survival for crazy buffs.

THE RISK VS REWARD MECHANIC

So, how do these curses actually work? Unlike normal enchantments that just give you free stats, every single curse in this add-on has two sides: a massive Power and a brutal Cost. For example, do you want a sword that does eighty percent more damage on every single hit? You can have it with the Bloodlust curse. But the cost? You will literally bleed and lose 1 HP every single time you swing and connect.

Do you want to run the Glass Cannon armor curse to get permanent Strength II without drinking potions? Go for it, but your maximum health gets permanently chopped down to just 10 HP. You hit like a truck, but you break like glass. It forces you to completely change how you play the game. You have to strategize, mix and match curses, and figure out how to survive your own weapons.

TWENTY UNIQUE CURSES TO EXPLORE

I went all out on the code for this and designed 20 completely unique curses split across five different gear categories. For your Swords, you have crazy things like Soul Reap, which inflicts Wither III on your enemies but gives you Weakness, or Hunger Blade, which steals food but drains your own hunger bar. For the Axes, I added Sever, which gives you a flat 15% chance to instantly execute and one-shot any mob under 5 HP, but it temporarily drops your max health. For the Pickaxes, the grind is forever changed.

The Depth curse lets you mine a massive 3x3 area instantly, but your tool takes triple the durability damage. Or try Greed, which drops triple ores but slaps you with Mining Fatigue. For Bows, the Void Shot is insanely fun. Wherever your arrow lands, you instantly teleport to it, but you get hit with crippling Nausea for five seconds. And for Armor, my absolute favorite is Undying. If you die, it auto-revives you like a totem, but your entire inventory gets locked and unusable for 60 seconds. You survive, but you have to run for your life!

THE CUSTOM NOVA PANEL UI

I hate add-ons that make you memorize weird chat commands to make things work. To make this super premium and easy to use, the moment you spawn into the world, the game automatically drops a custom NovaCurses Panel item (it looks like a clock) into your inventory. All you have to do is hold the item, crouch, and use it.

This opens up an insanely clean, custom user interface right on your screen. From this menu, you can read the complete Guide book, browse through all your tools, and apply curses. But here is the catch: applying a curse requires a specific magical reagent from the world, like a Fermented Spider Eye, an Echo Shard, or a Phantom Membrane. And remember, bro, curses are permanent.

They write themselves directly into the lore of your weapon. If you ever regret your choice and want to cleanse the weapon, you have to open the Remove Curse menu and sacrifice a literal Nether Star. Choose your darkness wisely!
