💥 Defused: Safe Creepers
Defused: Safe Creepers is a lightweight Minecraft Bedrock addon designed to stop Creepers from destroying your builds while keeping their iconic explosion behavior intact.
No more ruined houses, farms, pathways, or carefully built structures because of an unexpected Creeper!
✨ Features
- 🧨 Creepers still explode — their explosion behavior remains part of the gameplay.
- 🏠 No block destruction — Creeper explosions will no longer break blocks.
- 🛡️ No player explosion damage — Creeper blasts deal 0 damage to players.
- 🔥 No fire from Creeper explosions — explosions will not set the surrounding area on fire.
- ⚡ Charged Creepers are supported — charged Creepers also cannot destroy blocks or damage players.
- 🎮 Works with normal Creeper behavior — Creepers can still spawn, target players, swell, and explode normally.
- 📦 Lightweight addon — modifies the Creeper entity without adding unnecessary gameplay systems.
- 🕹️ Minecraft Bedrock Edition — designed for Bedrock versions supporting the included entity format.
🛠️ Compatibility
- Minimum Minecraft Version: 1.19.0

🎯 What Does It Change?
Normally, a Creeper explosion can damage players and destroy blocks around it.
With Defused: Safe Creepers, Creepers become much safer:
| Creeper Effect | Original | With Addon |
|---|---|---|
| Explosion | ✅ | ✅ |
| Block destruction | 💥 Yes | ❌ Disabled |
| Player damage | 💔 Yes | ❌ Disabled |
| Knockback | 💨 Yes | ❌ Disabled |
| Fire creation | 🔥 Possible | ❌ Disabled |
| Charged Creeper support | ⚡ Yes | ⚡ Safe |
This makes Creepers more of a visual/gameplay threat without allowing them to grief your builds.
