Alex AI is a special chat item for Minecraft Bedrock that makes your world feel more alive.
When you use the item, you can chat in text with a friendly in‑game companion that:

• Talks back to you in simple, clear messages
• Uses scripted memory to “remember” things you tell it over time
• Can recall details you gave it earlier, like places, plans, or ideas

It’s not a real online AI — it doesn’t connect to the internet or any live AI service.
Instead, it uses carefully written scripts and internal memory to act like a helpful, chatty companion inside your world.

What Alex AI Can Do Right Now

• Chat through a special item
  Hold and use the Alex AI chat item to start talking. Type messages, get replies, and keep the conversation going.

• Scripted memory system
  Alex AI can “remember” certain things you say (like your base, your goals, or important notes) and bring them up later.

  Use it like a notebook that talks back: remind yourself of builds you want to finish, challenges you’re working on, or things you don’t want to forget.

Roadmap – Planned Features Coming in Future Updates

Alex AI is just getting started. Here’s the planned roadmap of features that i am going to add over time:

1. Friends List

   • Add a system where Alex AI can recognize and track multiple players.
   • Each player can have their own “profile” and remembered details.
   • Alex AI may respond differently based on who is talking.

2. More Intelligent Behaviour

   • Expand the scripted responses to feel smarter and more natural.
   • More context-aware replies based on what you said before.
   • Better “follow-up” messages so conversations feel more connected.

3. More Commands

   • Add extra chat commands for interacting with Alex AI.
   • Examples: commands for asking what it remembers, clearing memory, getting help, or changing modes.
   • Make it easier to control Alex AI just by typing.

4. More Memory Capacity

   • Let Alex AI remember more details over a longer time.
   • Organize memory into different categories (locations, projects, notes, etc.).
   • Improve how it recalls old information so it feels more consistent.

5. More Control Over Your World

   • Introduce safe, optional features where Alex AI can help you manage or react to the world.
   • Example ideas (depending on what you add later):
     • Comment on certain events (like deaths, achievements, or specific locations).
     • Trigger small, controlled in‑game actions when you ask (within Minecraft addon limits).

6. More Features Over Time

   • Continually expand Alex AI with new abilities and quality‑of‑life improvements.
   • Refine the chat item, memory system, and commands based on feedback.
   • Keep the core idea the same: a chatty, memory‑based companion that lives inside your Minecraft Bedrock world.
