⚡ Grand Teleport (GTP)
Transform ordinary Minecraft Bedrock teleports into smooth, high-altitude cinematic journeys.
🎥 Dynamic camera flight · 🌍 Cross-dimension travel · ⚙️ Fully configurable
🌌 Teleporting Should Feel Like Traveling
Minecraft normally moves you from one location to another instantly. Grand Teleport changes that.
Instead of abruptly appearing at your destination, the camera smoothly leaves the player, rises high above the world, travels toward the destination, descends back down, and returns seamlessly to first-person view.
Inspired by cinematic world transitions found in games such as GTA V, Grand Teleport brings a completely new feeling to long-distance travel in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
✨ Main Features
🎥 Cinematic Camera FlightSmooth five-phase transitions including camera exit, progressive ascent, high-altitude travel, destination descent, and first-person restoration. |
📏 Distance-Based PresetsChoose Fast, Classic, Cinematic, or Auto mode. Auto automatically adapts the transition style depending on teleport distance. |
🌍 Cross-Dimension TravelSupports cinematic transitions between the Overworld, Nether, and The End using a dedicated cross-dimension camera bridge. |
🗺️ Destination PreloadingTemporary ticking areas help prepare destination and midpoint regions before the camera reaches them, reducing visible unloaded terrain. |
⚓ Player Physics AnchorThe player's physical body remains safely anchored during cinematic flight, preventing gravity, knockback, and unwanted movement. |
🔊 Vanilla Sound DesignProgressive teleport audio is created entirely from vanilla Minecraft sounds. No custom audio or Resource Pack is required. |
🖥️ Cinematic HUDOptionally hides the HUD during transitions and automatically restores it when the player arrives. |
👥 Per-Player SettingsEvery player can independently configure presets, sounds, HUD behavior, input freezing, camera motion, minimum distance, and teleport sources. |
🚀 Cinematic Presets
| Preset | Recommended For | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| ⚡ Fast | Short travel | Quick ascent and high-speed camera movement. |
| 🎥 Classic | Medium travel | Balanced cinematic height, speed, and duration. |
| 🌌 Cinematic | Long-distance travel | Higher altitude and slower panoramic flight. |
| ✨ Auto | Normal gameplay | Automatically selects the best preset based on distance. |
💡 Recommended: Use Auto mode for normal gameplay. Short teleports remain quick, while long-distance journeys automatically become more cinematic.
🎛️ Fully Configurable
Grand Teleport includes an interactive in-game configuration menu:
/gtp:config
- Enable or disable Grand Teleport
- Select Auto, Fast, Classic, or Cinematic presets
- Enable or disable player input freezing
- Hide the HUD during cinematic transitions
- Enable or disable vanilla sound effects
- Enable subtle camera movement
- Set the minimum teleport distance
- Configure individual teleport source filters
Settings are stored individually for each player using Minecraft Dynamic Properties.
🔌 Works With Existing Teleport Systems
Grand Teleport can detect many common player relocations, including:
- Vanilla
/tpand/teleport - Command Blocks
- Functions
- Other Script API add-ons
- Waystone-style teleport systems
- Dimension changes
- Portals
For add-on developers, GTP also provides a direct Script Event integration system.
/scriptevent gtp:tp 1000 70 1000
Using the direct Script Event API allows GTP to know the destination before moving the player, providing the cleanest possible transition for custom teleport systems.
🌍 Dimension-Aware Flight
Grand Teleport automatically adjusts camera altitude depending on the current Minecraft dimension.
| Dimension | Behavior |
|---|---|
| 🌎 Overworld | Full cinematic altitude. |
| 🔥 Nether | Restricted altitude to avoid crossing the Bedrock ceiling. |
| 🌌 The End | Dedicated safe camera height profile. |
If the player is already near the vertical limit of a dimension, GTP automatically reduces the ascent path.

🔊 Built With Vanilla Minecraft
Grand Teleport does not require custom sound files, shaders, or visual resources.
| Custom Sounds | Not Required |
| Resource Pack | Not Required |
| Custom Shaders | Not Required |
| Custom Camera Fades | Not Used |
The cinematic experience is created through Bedrock's Script API, free camera controls, easing, player state management, ticking areas, and vanilla Minecraft sound effects.
