Fringe Essence Utility Mod (1.20.1) – Customize Glowing Banners

Fringe Essence Utility Mod brings fresh utility to vanilla items like Glow Ink Sacs, Phantom Membranes, and Echo Shards. This mod lets you brighten banner patterns, remove sign backgrounds, and build underwater light sources. You can also customize your armor trims with animated color cycles and glowing effects in the dark.

Features:

• Use Glow Ink Sacs on banners and decorated pot faces to make them glow in the dark.
• Use Phantom Membranes on banners and signs to hide their background borders completely.
• Mine modified banners with Silk Touch tools to keep their glowing and borderless effects intact.
• Craft Clear Item Frames using one regular item frame and a Glow Ink Sac to display items floating in the air.
• Place Glow Torches underwater to provide bright light inside submerged areas.

Armor Trim Effects:

• Glowing: makes your armor trim shine bright during the night.
• Fade: causes your armor trim to periodically disappear and reappear.
• Twinkle: pulses trim brightness on and off in dark environments.
• Pigment: cycles the trim color between its base metal and other selected materials over time.

How to Use:

1. Right-click a placed banner or decorated pot with a Glow Ink Sac to add emissive lighting.
2. Right-click any sign or banner with a Phantom Membrane to turn the background invisible.
3. Combine trimmed armor with Glow Ink Sacs, Phantom Membranes, or Echo Shards in a crafting grid to add custom animated trim effects.
4. Craft a Glow Torch with a stick and a Glow Ink Sac to place waterproof lighting.

Commands:

• /give @p netherite_chestplate{Trim:{pattern: "silence", material: "redstone", ectolum.glowing: true, ectolum.echoing_layers: [{material:"copper"},{material:"gold"},{material:"emerald"},{material:"diamond"},{material:"lapis"},{material:"amethyst"}]}}: gives a rainbow animated chestplate in Creative mode.
