API for creating dynamic dimensions

⬇ Download on Modrinth

Madnessverse

Madnessverse is a multiplatform API that allows other mods to add and remove dimensions at runtime.

It provides no features or content on its own. Madnessverse is designed to give mod developers a simple way to dynamically create and manage dimensions while a server is running.

Madnessverse supports Minecraft 1.21.1 on both Fabric and NeoForge, using Architectury API to provide a shared multiplatform implementation.

Madnessverse is primarily a server-side API and is not required on the client. It is also compatible with vanilla clients.

If Madnessverse is installed on the client, newly added or removed dimensions will immediately be reflected in command suggestions for commands that accept dimensions as arguments, such as /execute in. If Madnessverse is not installed on the client, players may need to log out and reconnect to the server for these changes to become visible in command suggestions.

Madnessverse provides the API and infrastructure for runtime dimension management; individual mods are responsible for deciding when dimensions should be created, configured, or removed.

Requirements

For Developers

Developer documentation and API usage examples can be found in the project's source repository.

Attribution
