



Vanilla Tooltips is a lightweight, client-side cosmetic mod that enhances item tooltips while preserving Minecraft’s visual style.
It adds animated item previews, rarity styling, and a dedicated 3D armor preview. All major visual features can be configured or disabled independently.

Configuration
On Fabric, Mod Menu is optional; install it to access the in-game configuration screen. On Forge and NeoForge, the configuration screen is available through the installed mods list.
Compatibility
Vanilla Tooltips is entirely client-side and does not need to be installed on the server.

Installation
- Install the appropriate mod loader for your Minecraft version.
- Download the matching Vanilla Tooltips version and its required dependencies.
- Place the downloaded JAR files in your client’s
modsfolder. - Launch the game and configure the mod through Mod Menu on Fabric or the installed mods list on Forge and NeoForge.
Notes
Vanilla Tooltips only changes the visual appearance of tooltips and does not affect gameplay or world data.
You may use this mod in personal installations and Modrinth modpacks. Redistribution, modification, or reuploading outside Modrinth requires permission from the author.
