What is MSP-Events?

MSP-Events is an event engine designed to bring more activity and variety to your Minecraft server.

Instead of installing a different plugin for every minigame or temporary activity, MSP-Events provides multiple event types through a single modular system.

Events can be started manually by administrators or automatically through the built-in scheduler.

Treasure Hunt
A treasure chest is hidden in the world. Players must find it before anyone else.

Mob Invasion
Players fight against waves of hostile mobs while the plugin tracks the remaining enemies.

King of the Hill
Players compete for control of a configured area. Hold the zone long enough to dominate the event.

Mining Rush
Players compete to mine configured blocks and reach the highest score before time runs out.

Fishing Tournament
Catch fish, earn points and climb the event leaderboard.

Automatic Events

MSP-Events can automatically select and start events without requiring an administrator to be online.

Configure the delay between events and let the plugin keep your server active automatically.

This makes it useful for:

Administration

The plugin generates its configuration files automatically.

Main files include:

Event settings, messages, rewards and automatic scheduling can be customized from these files.

MSP-Events includes a public API so other plugins can interact with the event system.

The API can be used to:

Installation

1. Download MSP-Events.
2. Place the JAR inside your server's plugins folder.
3. Restart the server.
4. Configure your events and rewards.
5. Use /events help in-game.

A full restart is recommended when installing or updating the plugin.

Compatibility

MSP-Events is designed around the Bukkit/Spigot API with compatibility in mind.

Only Minecraft versions that have been explicitly marked as tested on this resource page should be considered officially tested.

If you encounter a compatibility issue, please report the server software, Minecraft version and complete console error.
