ZignoKeepItems is a lightweight and fully configurable Minecraft plugin that allows server administrators to define exactly which items players should keep when they die.
Unlike the vanilla keepInventory gamerule, ZignoKeepItems gives you complete control over which items are protected and which are dropped, making it perfect for Survival, Prison, SkyBlock, Factions, RPG, PvP and other server modes.

ZignoKeepItems includes a simple and intuitive command system for managing your protected items and configuration.
Commands
Command Description
/keepitems additem Adds the item currently held in your hand to the keep-items list.
/keepitems delitem <material> Removes a material from the keep-items list.
/keepitems reload Reloads the plugin configuration and messages.
Permissions
Permission Description
keepitems.use Allows the player to use the item protection functionality configured by the server.
keepitems.admin Grants access to administrative options and management commands.

keepitems.use
Allows players to benefit from the configured Keep Items system. This permission can be assigned to specific ranks or groups depending on your server's permission setup.
keepitems.admin
Provides access to administrative features, including managing the protected item list and reloading the plugin configuration.
Tip: We recommend using a permission manager such as LuckPerms to easily assign these permissions to different ranks on your server.
