Farloom 0.4.0 — long-distance exploration built for Distant Horizons

Short description: Dedicated Distant Horizons terrain and water shading, clean LOD handoff and a stable high-visibility atmosphere for huge landscapes.

Farloom is made for players who cross mountains instead of posing beside them. Dedicated Iris Distant Horizons programs shade far terrain and water, a clean radial handoff connects the near world to LODs, and distance-aware atmosphere keeps enormous views readable without crawling noise.

Highlights

Recommended: Medium for play, High/Extreme for landscape captures.

Requirements and verified compatibility

Distant Horizons is optional and recommended only on modern Iris/DH combinations that support shaderpack rendering. Farloom supports Minecraft Java 1.8.9–26.2 with a compatible OptiFine or Iris/Sodium stack. The exact release ZIP was runtime-tested on 1.8.9, 1.12.2, 1.16.5, 1.20.1, 1.21.8, 1.21.11 and 26.2; the 26.2 build passed Overworld, Nether and End. Not every point release, driver or loader fork was launched individually.

Türkçe

Farloom dev manzaraları kararlı ve okunabilir tutmak için Distant Horizons'a özel hazırlanmıştır. Ayrı LOD arazi/su programları, temiz dairesel geçiş ve mesafeye duyarlı atmosfer; yakın dünya ile uzak araziyi tek bir görüntüde birleştirir.
