Lithium optimizes many of Minecraft's internal game systems. It improves performance without intentionally changing the core gameplay experience.

ImmediatelyFast improves the performance of several rendering operations and can help reduce rendering overhead.

Entity Culling prevents Minecraft from rendering entities that cannot actually be seen, which can improve performance in areas containing many entities.

More Culling provides additional rendering optimizations by avoiding unnecessary work when objects cannot be seen.

Dynamic FPS reduces resource usage when Minecraft is running in the background or is not being actively used.

These optimizations work together to provide a smoother experience while keeping the pack relatively lightweight.

PvP

The pack is designed with PvP players in mind.

Do not update Sodium individually.

Iris

Iris provides shader support and works alongside Sodium.

Final Note

Please keep the included mod versions together whenever possible.

Most importantly, do not independently update Sodium, Iris, or other Sodium/Iris-related rendering mods unless you have confirmed that the new versions are compatible with each other and with Minecraft 1.21.11.

A working modpack can become unstable from changing only one rendering component.

If the pack is working correctly, leave the Sodium/Iris versions alone.
