Abyssal Heights Legacy Mod (1.12.2) – Deeper Caves and Taller Mountain Biomes

Abyssal Heights Legacy Mod backports modern world generation and underground biomes to older game versions. It expands the world height from Y=-64 to Y=319 while adding deep caves, tall mountain ranges, and modern blocks. This mod introduces lush caves, dripstone caverns, axolotls, and deepslate ores. Players can roam vast underground systems and gather new resources without leaving their preferred setup.

Features:

• Expands the world building limits down to Y=-64 and up to Y=319 for taller mountains and deeper caves.
• Generates deepslate stone bands below Y=0 along with raw metal ores.
• Introduces lush cave biomes filled with moss, glow berries, azalea bushes, spore blossoms, and dripleaf plants.
• Adds dripstone caverns featuring pointed stalactites, stalagmites, and water fill mechanics for cauldrons.
• Creates six mountain biomes including Meadows, Groves, Snowy Slopes, Jagged Peaks, Frozen Peaks, and Stony Peaks.
• Includes amethyst geodes deep underground with budding amethyst blocks, crystal clusters, and crafting for tinted glass and the spyglass.
• Adds copper blocks with four weathering stages, axe scraping, honeycomb waxing, and lightning rod protection.
• Spawns axolotls in lush cave waters with five color varieties, bucket pickup mechanics, and combat help against aquatic mobs.
• Adds bees, bee nests, beehives, honey harvesting, honey blocks, and campfire smoke mechanics.
• Features powder snow blocks that freeze unprotected players and trap heavy armor users unless wearing leather boots.
• Brings candles with sixteen dye options that can be placed on cakes or lit with flint and steel.
• Adds the stonecutter and composter blocks for faster block shaping and bone meal production.

Commands:

• /cncbiome: Identifies the cave biome at your current position.
• /cncbiome <x> <y> <z>: Checks the cave biome at the specified coordinates.

Configuration:

• world.enableForNewOverworlds: Controls whether modern world generation activates for newly created worlds.

How to Use:

1. Create a new Overworld to generate the expanded terrain automatically.
2. Dig below Y=0 to find deepslate layers, lush caves, and dripstone caverns.
3. Climb snow-covered mountain peaks to find meadows and powder snow.
4. Use a water bucket to collect axolotls from lush cave pools.
5. Type /cncbiome to check what cave biome surrounds your character.
