A fast, touch-friendly building tool for Minecraft Bedrock. Everything runs through simple menus and one Wand item. Prefer typing over tapping? Full chat commands are included too, and none of them need cheats enabled.
Set, Replace, Gradient, Copy & Paste with a live ghost preview, Shapes, Stack, Move, Undo/Redo and schematic import, all built for touchscreen players.
Getting Started
- Get the Mine Edit Wand from the Equipment tab in Creative (or run
/give @s mine:wand) - Tap a block for Position 1, tap another for Position 2
- Right-click the Wand to open the Main Menu.
The Wand never breaks the block you tap, and a clean white outline (no particles) shows your selection.
You also get a signed in-game Guide Book on your first join. You can grab another one any time from the Main Menu.
Features
Editing Tools
- Set: turn the whole selection into one block
- Replace: swap only matching blocks and leave the rest untouched
- Gradient: blend 2 to 5 blocks smoothly across the selection, with an optional Randomize toggle
- Fill: fill only the air blocks in the selection
- Walls: build just the outer side walls
- Clear: turn the selection into air
Set, Replace, Walls, Gradient and Shapes accept block states like minecraft:piston[facing_direction=up]. Fill takes plain block IDs only.
Copy, Cut & Paste
Copy or Cut your selection, then paste with a movable ghost preview: snap it to yourself, nudge it block by block, rotate by 90°, 180° or 270°, then confirm. Directional blocks like stairs and logs keep the correct facing when pasted.
Shapes
Built instantly at your position, no selection needed: Cube, Hollow Cube, Sphere, Hollow Sphere, Cylinder, Hollow Cylinder and Pyramid.
Stack
Repeat your selection back to back in any direction (north, south, east, west, up, down, or auto-facing where you look), with options to include air and add a gap between copies.
Move Tool
Set your selection, then nudge a live ghost preview using 6 directional stick items (1 block per tap). Nothing changes until you confirm.
Schematics (Saved Clipboards)
Save your clipboard under a name and load it later. Load, Rename and Delete each saved item. These are session-based and are not saved to the world file.
Import Schematics
Browse .mcstructure files supplied by any active behavior pack's structures/ folder, preview one as a progressive hologram at your position and facing, then paste it for real using Minecraft's own native layer-by-layer placement. Rotation automatically matches the direction you're facing. Hologram speed can be set to Fast, Normal, Slow or Instant.
Note: Mine Edit does not ship with any structures built in. Import Schematics shows structures from your own .mcstructure files or from other structure packs you activate. Import Schematics pastes are not on the Undo/Redo stack, the same way other schematic tools handle native structure placement.
Undo & Redo
Keeps your last 20 actions for Set, Replace, Gradient, Fill, Walls, Clear, Shapes, Cut, Paste and Move. Stack is undoable as well.
Extras
- Info Mode: toggle it in Settings. While holding the Wand, the ID and block states of the block you're looking at show in the action bar. It never places or breaks anything.
- Settings Menu: view undo/redo steps and saved schematics, change the Import Schematics hologram speed, or clear history and schematics
Chat Commands
Set your selection with the Wand, then run any of these straight from chat instead of opening the menu. Cheats are not required.
