This addon makes fishing actually fun. Every time you catch something with a fishing rod, the addon rolls for a special event and drops bonus loot.

There are 8 different catch types ranging from a basic common catch all the way up to a MEGA CATCH that triggers every single effect in the addon at the same time. Fishing in vanilla Minecraft is boring and this completely changes that.

How it works

You fish like normal with any fishing rod. When you catch something the addon detects it and rolls for a catch type. The most common one is a regular catch at 60% which gives you basic items like cod, salmon, bones, and string. But there is a 40% chance you get something special. Rare catches give you diamonds, emeralds, and golden apples.

Golden Fish gives you epic loot multiplied by 10. Treasure Chest drops 10 to 20 legendary items. And MEGA CATCH is a 1% chance that fires everything at once — common, rare, epic, and legendary loot plus a scary mob spawns plus you get every good buff in the game.

The 8 catch types

Common Catch is 60% and gives basic fish and junk items. Rare Catch is 20% and drops diamonds, emeralds, netherite scraps, and enchanted gear. Golden Fish is 5% and gives epic loot at 10x the normal amount plus it announces to the whole server. Monster From Deep is 5% and spawns a drowned, guardian, or elder guardian near you but also drops rare loot.

Treasure Chest is 3% and drops 10 to 20 legendary items including netherite ingots, nether stars, beacons, and elytra. Lucky Bite is 3% and gives you 2 random positive effects like speed or strength plus rare loot.

 Cursed Catch is 3% and spawns a mob plus gives you a bad effect like poison or slowness BUT also drops epic loot so it is still worth it. And MEGA CATCH is 1% and triggers everything at once. All loot tiers, a scary mob, and every positive buff. It is chaos.

Environment bonuses

Fishing at night gives you a 1.5x loot multiplier. Fishing in the rain gives you 2x. Fishing during a thunderstorm gives you 2.5x. So if you want the best loot possible go fishing during a thunderstorm at night. After 15 total catches you unlock the Deep Sea bonus which doubles your rare catch chances. There is also a Water Bless which is a 10% chance on every catch to get a random positive effect like speed, haste, regeneration, or dolphin's grace.

Streak system

Every catch builds your streak. If you keep fishing without stopping you build up a streak and at certain milestones you get bonus loot. 5 streak gives you 1.2x bonus. 10 streak gives 1.5x. 25 streak gives 2x. 50 streak gives 3x. And if you somehow hit 100 streak you get 5x loot and the title Aquatic God. Your streak resets if you stop fishing for 30 seconds so you need to keep going.

Fisher titles

There are 12 titles you unlock as you catch more fish. You start as Poor Fisher and work your way up through Bait Setter, Hook Master, Line Caster, Fish Finder, Sea Dog, Ocean Hunter, Deep Sea Lord, Tide Master, Ocean King, Sea Supreme, and finally Aquatic God at 5000 catches. Your current title shows in the menu and higher titles get announced to the server.

Milestones

There are milestone rewards at specific catch counts. 25 catches gives you iron ingots. 75 gives gold ingots. 150 gives diamonds. 500 gives netherite scraps. 1000 gives a diamond block. 2000 gives a netherite block. And 5000 gives 3 netherite blocks. The bigger milestones get announced to the whole server.

Stats and leaderboard

The addon tracks everything. Total catches, golden fish caught, treasure chests found, monsters spawned, lucky bites, cursed catches, mega catches, best streak, current streak, total loot items, night catches, rain catches, and deep sea catches. There is a leaderboard that shows the top fishermen on your server ranked by total catches. There is also a catch history that shows your last 15 special catches with timestamps.

Settings

You can toggle sound effects, HUD display, and chat messages from the settings menu. Open the menu by sneaking and using a stick. The HUD shows your current streak and any active environment bonuses at the bottom of the screen.

Works in multiplayer and realms. Each player has their own stats and titles.
