Each shrine features a special pedestal holding the Grove Sword, a fast-swinging iron weapon enchanted with Sharpness V and Smite V. You can pull the blade straight out of the stone to upgrade your melee combat right away. Once you take the weapon, the shrine clears its magic particles and leaves behind an empty stone stand.
