Turn Iron Into an Industry

What if iron could defend your home, mine on its own, generate power and turn an entire build into a moving ship?

Iron Mania expands Minecraft survival with craftable defenders, automated mining, working power networks, security systems and fully controllable ships. Everything is designed to feel like an extension of Minecraft rather than a separate technology mod.

Iron Steves and Molten Steves

Build your own iron-powered bodyguards and decide exactly how they protect you.

- Make individual units or entire groups follow you.
- Create reusable patrol paths around bases, villages and important builds.
- Set random patrols with infinite or custom perimeter boundaries.
- Choose whether they attack monsters, players or every valid threat.
- Name, recolour, power down and remotely manage your units.
- Deploy stronger Molten Steves when ordinary protection is not enough.

Build Working Ships and Submersibles

Construct a vessel from normal blocks, connect Iron Motors and an Iron Wheel, then transform the entire structure into a controllable ship.

- Walk around the deck while the ship is moving.
- Carry passengers and use storage built into the vessel.
- Set a speed limit or allow public driving for multiplayer crews.
- Attach working radars to monitor nearby threats.
- Use Submersible Mode for sealed underwater builds with depth controls.
- Return the vessel to normal blocks when you reach your destination.

Automated Iron Drills

Send regular and Advanced Iron Drills underground to mine while you focus on everything else.

- Choose a direction and use straight or random mining paths.
- Set a home point and make the drill return automatically when power runs low.
- Configure ore collection, storage priority and automatic junk incineration.
- Reserve bridging materials so the drill can safely cross gaps.
- Place torch trails, bridge terrain and seal nearby water or lava.
- Charge batteries through connected generators and copper wiring.
- Ride on the rear seats or require a rider before the drill can move.
- Keep autonomous drills working beyond the player's immediate area.

Defend and Automate Your Base

Iron Mania's machines can work together as a complete security network.

- Turrets can target monsters, players or all valid entities.
- Optional laser targeting improves turret accuracy.
- Standard and explosive traps protect entrances and vulnerable areas.
- Radars provide a live display of detected threats.
- Configure automatic alerts and send Turrets, Iron Steves or Molten Steves to respond.
- Apply matching settings across groups of owned defence units.

Generate and Distribute Power

Build Solar and Hydro Generators, route energy through copper wires and use the power to run machines, charge drill batteries and bring larger creations to life. Craft the Iron Mania Catalog in-game to browse the available equipment, learn what each item does and view its recipe.

Installation

1. Download and open `Iron Mania.mcaddon` with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
2. Apply both the Iron Mania Behavior Pack and Resource Pack to your world.
3. Enter the world and use the Iron Mania Catalog to begin.

Iron Mania requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.0 or newer.

Important World Safety

Ships and automated drills can move structures and alter terrain. Back up important worlds before experimenting with large vessels or autonomous mining routes.
