YAOYOTL

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This project was made for the Echoes Of The Past Modjam, which basically means this whole thing is kind of a rush job. Once the Modjam process passes I will continue to polish this project.

YAOYOTL

Yaoyotl is an Add-On that brings a small piece of Aztec (Mexica going forward) culture into you Minecraft world, in the form of a massive lost city structure along with multiple enemy ranks and items inspired by Mexica warfare.

 

THE CITY

The remains of a once sprawling population, now reduced to a small section, still inhabited by the echoes of the inhabitants it had in the past. This structure can be found in the overworld on the flatter biomes such as plains, deserts, savannas, some forests, among other biomes.

The city consists of a multiple buildings, each containing different kinds of trial spawners and trial vaults, which contain unique loot inside them

The vaults containing the loot are divided into three tiers, GREEN, BLUE and RED. The color that surrounds the vault will determine the key needed. This expansions brings 3 new keys obtained by clearing the spawners of variant difficulty. Green vaults have the most normal loot, Red ones have the juiciest.

EQUIPMENT

This Add-On brings multiple new pieces of equipment, both in armor and weapons. As you might guess, this comes the form of the items used by the enemies, however these can only be obtained through the vaults in the Lost City.

Among the equipment added, you can find:

• 23 Armor Pieces
• 11 Unique Shield Styles
• 3 Whistles with special effects
• The Tecpatl, a special weapon that can be upgraded, at a cost
• A stronger bow that uses its own arrows
• Several styles of new spear type
• A slingshot type ranged weapon that uses cobblestone blocks
• A crossbow like quick action ranged weapon
• New Macuahuitl weapon type, capable of hitting multiple enemies at once
• New Mace weapon type, having a chance to stun the enemy
• And others

This was kind of a brief explanation wasn't it? I usually tend to be more extensive and detailed on the description of my projects but, again, Modjam, I'm in a rush, so hopefully soon I get the time to properly detail everything currenlty in this Add-On
