Traverse is a Minecraft Bedrock addon focused on fast, realistic, and skill-based movement. It adds 6 unique abilities, a stamina system, and custom controls while keeping the experience simple and survival-friendly.

 

⚡ Abilities & Activations

 

🏃 Dash

 

Quickly burst forward to cover distance or escape danger.

 

- Activation: Double-tap the Sprint button.

- Stamina Cost: 6 stamina.

 

⚡ Quick Step

 

Perform a quick movement burst using a dedicated custom control.

 

- Activation: Press the custom circular Quick Step button.

- Cooldown: 20 seconds.

 

↩️ Back Step

 

Rapidly move backward to create distance or reposition during combat.

 

- Activation: Press the Back Step control.

 

💥 Ground Slam

 

Use your downward movement to perform a powerful landing maneuver.

 

- Activation: Activate while airborne, then land to perform the Ground Slam.

 

🦘 Jump Boost

 

Provides enhanced jumping mobility for easier traversal.

 

- Activation: Automatically active when Traverse is enabled; simply jump normally.

 

👊 Power Hit

 

Perform a stronger melee attack for more impactful close-range combat.

 

- Activation: Press the Power Hit control while attacking.

 

🔋 Stamina System

 

Traverse includes a 100/100 stamina bar for managing movement abilities.

 

- Maximum: 100 stamina

- Dash: Costs 6 stamina

- The current stamina is displayed through the stamina bar.

- Manage your stamina carefully so you have enough when you need it.

 

🎮 Controls & Features

 

Traverse is built specifically for Minecraft Bedrock / PE and is designed around mobile controls.

 

- Custom ability buttons

- Circular Quick Step button

- Normal Minecraft joystick remains unchanged

- No player hitbox changes

- No crafting required

- No commands required

- No special items or equipment required

- Automatically activates when you enter the world

 

⚙️ REQUIRED — BETA APIs

 

Beta APIs must be enabled before playing Traverse.

 

To enable them:

 

1. Open your World Settings.

2. Go to the Experiments section.

3. Find Beta APIs.

4. Turn Beta APIs ON.

5. Accept the warning/confirmation if Minecraft displays one.

6. Make sure the required experiment remains enabled when you enter the world.

 

⚠️ Important: Traverse relies on Beta APIs for its systems to function. If Beta APIs are disabled, the addon may not work correctly or some abilities/features may be unavailable.

 

For the most reliable experience, enable Beta APIs before loading the world with Traverse.
