Bring builds to life
VanillaFurniture adds 40 ready-to-use furniture models to Paper and Purpur servers without requiring players to download anything. Every model is assembled from vanilla Minecraft display entities and materials, giving your server detailed furniture while keeping the familiar Minecraft style.
This is more than a decoration pack. Players can sit properly on chairs and sofas, share multi-seat furniture, store items inside cabinets and wardrobes, and switch compatible furniture on or off.

Furniture that actually works
Comfortable seating
Right-click a chair, bench, sofa, bathtub, or toilet to sit. Seat positions are individually defined for each model, and larger furniture supports multiple players at the same time. Players are automatically aligned with the furniture's direction.
Real persistent storage
Storage furniture opens its own inventory instead of acting as decoration only. Contents are saved with the furniture and restored after server restarts. Storage sizes differ by model, from compact bedside tables to spacious wardrobes.
Interactive furniture
Lamps, televisions, computer screens, arcade machines, the stereo console, and the fireplace include on/off states. Simply right-click compatible furniture to switch its appearance.

Simple player controls
- Place: Right-click the top of a block while holding a furniture item
- Use: Right-click furniture to sit, open storage, or toggle it
- Rotate: Sneak + right-click placed furniture
- Remove: Sneak + left-click the furniture
In-game catalog
Use /furniture to open the categorized catalog. Players can browse all models, while access to receiving free furniture is controlled separately. This makes it easy to connect furniture distribution to your own shops, ranks, quests, crates, or economy.

vanillafurniture.admin
- vanillafurniture.use is granted to everyone by default.
- Catalog item access and administration permissions default to operators.
- vanillafurniture.admin allows staff to manage furniture belonging to other players.
Protection and clean hitboxes
Furniture is owner-protected by default. Storage access can also be restricted to the owner, and placed furniture is protected from explosions. Administrators can manage every placement with the admin permission.
Placement also fires a standard block placement event, allowing compatible protection plugins to reject furniture placement in protected areas.
Create and edit models
All furniture definitions are stored in models.yml. Server owners can edit the included models or build new furniture from vanilla block materials. Each model supports configurable:
- Display parts, materials, position, and scale
- Hitbox dimensions
- Seat positions
- Storage size
- Collision cells
- Category and catalog icon
- Action type: seating, storage, toggle, or decoration
- Alternate materials for on/off appearances
Changes can be applied with /furniture reload.
