LStealR is a lightweight, high-performance Lifesteal core built from the ground up for Paper, Purpur, and Leaf 1.21+ servers. Designed to handle high-traffic PvP environments without TPS drops, it combines fluid heart-stealing mechanics with built-in exploit prevention and anti-alt protections that most other lifesteal plugins leave unaddressed.
Core Mechanics
- Fluid Heart Stealing: Players gain hearts on PvP kills and lose them on death. Natural death penalties (fall damage, void, mobs) can be toggled independently from PvP deaths.
- Configurable Limits: Define default starting hearts, minimum elimination thresholds, and maximum health caps.
- Rank-Based Heart Limits: Grant donor ranks higher maximum heart caps dynamically using permission nodes (lstealr.maxhearts.<amount>).
- Elimination System: Players reduced to zero hearts are eliminated and temporarily banned for a configurable duration (default 24 hours).
- Heart Withdrawal: Players can convert their active health into physical items via /withdraw [amount]. Includes safeguards preventing players from accidentally withdrawing their final heart.
Public Lifesteal servers often suffer from players farming their own alternate accounts to gain free hearts. LStealR includes a dedicated anti-alt subsystem configurable directly in-game:
- Same-IP Detection: Prevents heart transfers between accounts sharing the same IP address.
- Victim Cooldowns: Restricts killers from repeatedly gaining hearts from the same target within a set window.
- Daily Target Kill Limits: Caps the maximum number of hearts a killer can take from a specific player per day.
- Minimum Playtime Requirement: Victims must have logged a minimum amount of active server playtime before their deaths drop or transfer hearts.
- Duplication Safeguards: Heart and beacon items are strictly protected against item frame dupes, anvil renaming exploits, grindstones, and illegal recipe crafting matrices.
- Heart of the Fallen: A physical textured head item bound by persistent data containers. Right-clicking redeems the heart directly into the player's max health pool.
- Revive Beacon: A special item used in tandem with /revive <player> to bring eliminated teammates back to life.
- Configurable Revive Parameters: Control whether beacons are consumed on use, the starting health of revived players, player revive cooldowns, and the maximum number of revives allowed per life.
Players can run /lsr info (or /lsr without admin permissions) to open a clean chest interface displaying:
- Real-time personal statistics (current hearts, max hearts, hearts stolen, lost, and consumed, kills, and deaths).
- Interactive visual recipe displays for the Heart item and Revive Beacon.
- Server rules and heart withdrawal requirements.
