What it is

A buy-it-now auction house for Paper 26.2, Purpur and Folia. Players list an item at a price, other players browse and buy it, and nothing is lost along the way.

Lite is free and it is not a demo. No timer, no listing cap you have to pay to lift, no watermark, no nag message, no upsell popup in the menus. It is the complete buy-it-now half of Ember Auctions, and if that is all your server needs then you are finished here.


What it looks like



What you get

• List and buy. Post a stack at a price. The item leaves your inventory the moment you list it, so nothing can be sold twice or duplicated by a reconnect.
• Collection box. Money from a sale, and any listing that expires, waits in a personal box. A full inventory or an offline player never loses an item or a payment.
• Twelve categories. Weapons, tools, armour, books, ores, blocks, food, potions, redstone, mobs, decoration and everything else. Items are matched by material pattern and item tag rather than a hand-written list, so items from other plugins land somewhere sensible with no configuration.
• Sellers can pick a category. Automatic is the default and is right nearly always. When it is not, because a block was renamed or a custom item has a material that says nothing useful, the seller chooses the shelf themselves from a list.
• Search and six sort orders. Newest, oldest, cheapest, dearest, cheapest per item, ending soonest.
• Preview. Inspect the real item behind a listing, with its enchantments, lore and durability, before you spend anything.
• Blacklist by material, display name and lore, and it looks inside shulker boxes. That is how banned items usually get past an auction house.
• Fees, tax and per-rank listing limits.
• Seven languages in the jar: English, German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese. All 67 strings are translated in each. A missing key falls back to English on its own, per key, so a half-finished translation of your own still works.
• PlaceholderAPI placeholders for balances and listing counts.
• Bedrock. Every menu is a plain chest inventory, so Geyser players get them without a separate interface.
• Folia. Real region scheduling, not a compatibility shim.

Money: you probably do not need anything

Ember Auctions has no required dependency of any kind, and it does not assume Vault. It uses whichever of these you already have.

• Vault — any Vault economy, including EssentialsX Economy. One currency, which is all Vault exposes.
• PlaceholderAPI — read a balance from a placeholder and move it with commands. This is the escape hatch for a currency plugin nobody has written a hook for. It is slower and less exact than a real hook, and the documentation says so plainly.
• Ember Coins — optional, and a separate plugin. See below.

About Ember Coins. You do not need it. It is not bundled and it is not required. What it adds is more than one currency at once: Vault exposes exactly one economy, so a Vault-only server gets a single-currency market, which is perfectly normal and works fine. With Ember Coins installed, every currency you configured there appears in the sell window with its own name, symbol and icon, and the seller picks which one to price in. If you do run Ember Coins it must be 1.1.0 or newer — older versions only expose their primary currency, and Ember Auctions will quietly see just that one. Nothing breaks either way.

Lite against Premium

Lite is not Premium with features switched off. It is compiled without the Premium source, so those classes are physically absent from this jar. Nothing in a config file turns them on, and no menu in Lite exists only to tell you to buy something.

Swapping between the two is a jar swap. Both read the same data folder, config and listings file.

Requirements

Paper 26.2 or newer, on Java 25. Purpur and Folia are supported. No required dependencies. The optional ones are listed in the Dependencies section of this resource.
