This client side mod syncs rain and snow rendering with the server's biome temperature values rather than using the default biome temperature values.
Normally, Minecraft clients determine rain and snow using the biome temperature information stored locally. This can cause visual inconsistencies on servers that dynamically modify biome temperatures at runtime. Essentially, the server might treat an area as cold enough for snow while players still see rain.
Dynamic Precipitation provides a simple solution by allowing your client to receive biome temperature overrides directly. The client then uses those temperatures when determining precipitation visuals, allowing rain and snow to accurately reflect the biome on the server.
