Title: Duplicator Tree — Bedrock Add-on
Short Summary (tagline):
A rare, naturally-generating tree that duplicates any block placed against it. Find it, chop it, and start cloning.
Full Description:
Deep in the Overworld grows a strange, purple-hued tree unlike any other — the Duplicator Tree. Its trunk and leaves shimmer with a faint magical tint, and once you find one, you'll never run out of building materials again.
Features:
🌳 Natural spawn — Duplicator Trees generate on their own across the Overworld: a short 4-block trunk topped with a handful of sparse, glowing leaves.
✨ Duplication mechanic — Hold any block and right-click the Duplicator Log. A perfect copy of that block appears right next to it, complete with a particle effect and sound cue.
♾️ No limits — Works with any block in the game, and duplication doesn't consume anything. Duplicate as much as you want.
🪓 Fully harvestable — Break the log or leaves and they drop as items, just like a normal tree.
Requirements:
Minecraft Bedrock 1.21+ (tested on 1.26.40)
"Beta APIs" experiment must be enabled in your world settings (required for the duplication script to work)
Installation:
Download the .mcaddon file.
Open it with Minecraft — it will import both the behavior and resource pack automatically.
Create or edit a world → enable both "Duplicator Tree" packs (Behavior + Resource) and turn on the Beta APIs experiment.
Explore the world, find a Duplicator Tree, and start duplicating!
Notes:
This is a fan-made add-on inspired by classic block-duplicator concepts. All code, textures, and assets were built from scratch for Bedrock.
Feedback and suggestions welcome!
