Make your passenger minecarts go faster!
RS-FasterMinecarts increases the maximum travel speed of minecarts with a player riding inside them.
That's it. Simple, lightweight, and focused on one thing: faster passenger minecart travel.

⚙️ CONFIGURATION
RS-FasterMinecarts uses one simple setting:
max-speed: 3.0
The value is a multiplier applied to the minecart's existing maximum speed.
1.0 — Normal speed
2.0 — 2× normal maximum speed
3.0 — 3× normal maximum speed
4.0 — 4× normal maximum speed
The default setting is 3.0.
NOTE:
This only effects minecarts with players inside. This does not effect other minecarts or modes of travel. This also, only effects minecart speeds on flat ground. Hills will still behave normally.
HOW IT WORKS
When a player enters a minecart, RS-FasterMinecarts records the minecart's current maximum speed and multiplies it by the configured value.
For example:
Original maximum speed: 0.4
Configured multiplier: 3.0
New maximum speed: 1.2
When the player exits, the minecart's original maximum speed is restored.
The plugin does not continuously manipulate the minecart's velocity and does not permanently modify the minecart.
INSTALLATION
1. Download RS-FasterMinecarts.
2. Place the JAR file into your server's plugins folder.
3. Start or restart the server.
4. Adjust config.yml if desired.
5. Get in a minecart and enjoy the faster ride!
