Mine Cells 9minecraft Mod rebuilds the world of Dead Cells inside Minecraft: not as a minigame or an arena, but as a set of full dimensions you travel to, fight through and come back from. Step through a doorway portal and you leave the overworld behind for the Prison, the Promenade of the Damned, the Ramparts or the Black Bridge, each generated as a proper hand-designed layout rather than scattered rooms.

The dimensions are built out of a room grid, so they read like real places. The Prison is a warren of cells and corridors lit by coloured torches; the Promenade is an open expanse of dark pillars under a pale sky, hung with chains and cages; the Ramparts climb; the Black Bridge waits at the end. Fog sits close in each of them, so you rarely see what is coming until it is on you.

What is coming is the roster from the game. Leaping Zombies close distance in a single bound, Shieldbearers block from the front and have to be worked around, Grenadiers lob explosives, and the bosses – Conjunctivius among them – hold their arenas at the far end of a run. They drop cells, which are the currency the whole progression runs on.

Cells are spent at the Cell Crafter, a workstation that turns them into the weapons and gear the dimensions demand. The armoury covers the game’s own kit: the Assassin’s Dagger for coming in from behind, the Heavy Crossbow for holding a corridor, swords, bows and shields alongside them. Runes unlock as you go and open up the doorways to the dimensions further along.

Away from the fighting there is a good deal to build with. Ribbon flags come in every dye colour and hang along walls, and the stone, wood and decoration sets from each dimension can be carried home and used anywhere.
