Ninja Parkour: Flow Edition

Vibrant Visuals Compatible • Realm Friendly

A parkour movement overhaul for Minecraft Bedrock built around speed, momentum, wall movement, rolls, dodges, and chaining moves together.

Flow Edition uses your normal movement controls contextually, keeping parkour fast and natural without assigning a separate button to every action.

The goal is simple:

Keep moving.

Mark of the Shinobi (Equip it to begin your training.)

Ninja Parkour is activated by the Mark of the Shinobi.

Equip the Mark in your offhand / shield slot to enable the movement system.

A small glowing red Shinobi emblem appears on your chest while active.

Remove the Mark to return to normal Minecraft movement.

Yes, it uses the shield slot.

If you still require a shield, consult Scroll XVII, Section 3, covering the ancient technique of Git Gud: the disciplined practice of not getting hit in the first place.

Shadow Rush (Ninja Sprint, faster movement built for parkour.)

Sprint forward and maintain your run.

After a short build-up, Shadow Rush engages automatically and shifts you into Ninja Sprint.

While active:

There is no vault button.

If the terrain is suitable, vaulting happens naturally as part of the run.

Keep holding Forward to maintain Shadow Rush.

Release Forward to disengage.

While airborne, Shadow Rush also surrounds you in shadow mist.

alt text

Void Step (Double jump, take your momentum higher.)

Perform a normal jump, then:

Release Jump → Press Jump again while airborne

Void Step gives you another burst of height while preserving your movement.

Use it to extend gaps, reach higher terrain, adjust your route, or set up a wall movement.

alt text

Ghost Run (Wall Run, walls are just floors with worse marketing.)

To start a Wall Run:

If those conditions are met, you automatically transition into a Wall Run.

Once attached, you can freely move your camera without losing the wall.

Control Action
Jump Kick away from the wall
Sneak Drop from the wall
Keep moving along the wall Continue the Wall Run
Reach the end of the wall Release naturally

Press Jump to Wall Kick forward, upward, and away from the wall.

The kick follows your current Wall Run direction, making it useful for clearing gaps or transitioning toward another wall.

alt text

Shadow Grip (Wall Catch, when reaching the wall was only half the plan.)

Shadow Grip is a deliberate wall catch performed after your Double Jump.

Jump → Release → Jump → Release → Jump and HOLD

The third Jump press arms the wall catch.

Keep Jump held while airborne and reach a nearby valid wall to catch it.

While attached, you slowly slide downward until you release Jump or lose contact.

Launching From the Wall

Release Jump to launch.

Look mostly up the wall for a stronger upward launch.

Look toward another route to launch in that direction instead.

You also retain brief aerial steering after release.

alt text

Shinobi Roll (Safety Roll, landing is part of the route.)

While airborne:

Hold Sneak through the landing

A suitable landing converts into a forward safety roll instead of stopping your movement.

The roll carries your incoming momentum and can travel several blocks.

Keep Sneak held to continue.

Release it to finish normally.

The roll can also carry over an edge instead of Sneak stopping you at the block.

alt text

Shinobi Burst (Roll Launch, keep the momentum going.)

During an active Shinobi Roll:

Press Jump

The roll immediately converts into a powerful forward and upward launch.

Shinobi Burst preserves your incoming momentum and adds another burst on top.

Imagine skipping the momentum entirely, crouching first, then spinning through the air like a bullet.

Ridiculous.

alt text

Shadow Dodge (Directional dodge, reposition in an instant.)

Quickly double-tap a movement direction while grounded.

Shadow Dodge works with:

Forward is left alone so normal Sprint activation is not interrupted.

A successful dodge rapidly moves you in the chosen direction and can travel roughly 4 blocks, stopping early if terrain blocks the route.

The active dodge also includes a brief window of protection.

Side and diagonal dodges can preserve Ninja Sprint.

A strong backward retreat can cancel it.

alt text

Mist Run (Water traversal, keep the run alive.)

Carry an active Ninja Sprint onto water while maintaining your movement.

With enough momentum, the run continues across the surface instead of dropping into a normal swim.

There is no Water Run button or special toggle.

Just keep moving.

Even ninjas hate wet socks.

Shinobi Master Flow

The individual movements are useful.

The real system appears when they stop feeling individual.

Flow Edition is built to let your movement chain naturally from one action into the next without asking you to memorize a separate input for every parkour move.

Some parkour systems hand you a control scheme.

This one would rather hand you momentum.

Eventually you stop thinking about individual mechanics and start seeing the environment as one continuous route.

At some point, every tall cliff starts looking like a perfectly reasonable place to jump from.

Convenient hay bale not included.

Third-Person Animations

Flow Edition includes dedicated third-person animations for its parkour movements.

They are designed to make the movement feel just as fluid from the outside as it does in first person.

Ninja Field Testing Division Note: An operative insisted this recipe was critically important. His report contained no technical justification, only a brief reference to ‘a traumatic encounter involving parkour during his travels.’ We have elected not to investigate further. The request was approved.

The Mark can also be found in the Creative inventory.

Equip it in your offhand / shield slot to activate Ninja Parkour.
