itzChatManager is a lightweight Minecraft server plugin that gives you simple control over player chat and server messages. It is designed to be easy to configure, easy to use, and require no external dependencies.

Enable player chat.
/chatmanager chat off
Disable player chat.
/chatmanager join on
Enable the default Minecraft join message.
/chatmanager join off
Disable the join message.
/chatmanager leave on
Enable the default Minecraft leave message.
/chatmanager leave off
Disable the leave message.
/chatmanager death on
Enable death messages.
/chatmanager death off
Disable death messages.
/chatmanager reload
Reload the plugin configuration.
/chatmanager status
View the current status of chat, join, leave, and death messages.

By default, this permission is given to server operators.
Join & Leave Messages
itzChatManager does not replace Minecraft's default join and leave messages.
When enabled, Minecraft/Paper will display its normal messages, such as:
Steve joined the game
Steve left the game
When disabled, the corresponding message will simply be hidden.
Default Configuration

By default, player chat is disabled while normal Minecraft join, leave, and death messages remain enabled.
Lightweight & Simple
itzChatManager is built to be small, simple, and easy to use. No additional plugins or dependencies are required.
Just place the plugin in your server's plugins folder, start the server, and configure it to your needs.
