Sigil lets server owners create custom items, materials, abilities, and recipes with YAML. No Java code is needed for standard items or built-in abilities.

Sigil works out of the box with no required dependencies or separate framework plugin.

Some newer item and recipe features depend on the Minecraft version. Sigil uses the best available option for the server and reports unavailable features at startup.
