ContextRun

ContextRun is a minecraft plugin developed by sazenice. I made it because I was tired of having to execute some commands as console or as a player.

Sometimes you need to use commands in a different context

Some plugins require the context of console for commands, others

require the context of players themselves

ContextRun fixes that.

Allowing the use of different contexts saves precious time, if you don't think so, use the plugin for some time and see for yourselves.

Example:

A plugin requires a player's context, but you only have console open

Without ContextRun

Open minecraft launcher (~2s) -> Launch game -> (~20-60s) -> Join server (~3s) -> Execute the command (~1s)

Total time taken (estimate): 50 seconds

With ContextRun

Execute the command (with the /run player prefix) (~2s)

Total time taken (estimate): 2 seconds

That's a time save of 48 seconds.

! This is kind of a jerk move (my bad), but for now you can only use the example if there is a player with sufficient permissions online (I forgot to implement an alternative method before writing this :skull:)
