BUT!

What if I also told you that you can give your life to save your friend's life (sorta)?

Side-effects include:

• Feeling less 'health-y'
• Becoming hungry (mmhhh)
• Being infested with silverfish (at least it's not worms?)
• Blindness
• Possibly... Death.

Quick Summary

‎ ‎ ‎ In hardcore mode, when a player dies, they become a limited ghost (darkness and no no-clipping). Bring the dead players back by sacrificing a half heart of your own health.

What is this?

‎ ‎ ‎ This data pack/mod gives players an easy(ier) way to bring back dead players in hardcore by using the newly found Half-lives!

‎ ‎ ‎ To begin, you must die. After you die, you will notice that you no longer have the freedom you once enjoyed. This is to be expected. You can't phase through the ground to find diamonds for your buddies, and your vision is severely limited. I hope you can still find your friends.

‎ ‎ ‎ After you have died, you can't do anything to come back. But! Your friends can! They must gather the rare crystalline minerals... Iron and Copper. It may take them a while, so sit back and relax. Once they've found those, they must go on a long quest to find the "heart of coal!"

‎ ‎ ‎ Then they must arrange them exactly like so:

‎ ‎ ‎ Next comes the most painful part. Your friends must give a part of their life for you. They need to hold an Empty Half-life in their hand and hold right-click until it is filled. They will lose a half life, and a Full Half-life will be created! This is where your part comes in! First you need to be close to a player who has a Full Half-life, and then they need to right-click it while you are within 10 blocks of them. Once it's completed, you will be alive again! [But remember those warnings. They're there for a reason.]
